Biography
I am a Solicitor who specialises in personal injury law. I work in the Serious Injury team in Bristol, representing people who've suffered a serious injury because of the negligence of a third party. Some of the types of cases I work on include accidents at work, road traffic accidents and fatal claims.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted a challenging but rewarding career and I have always enjoyed helping people.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
A catastrophic injury dramatically changes everything about a person's life. It's extremely rewarding to fight for families whose lives have been turned upside down and to try, as far as possible, to put them back into the position that they were in before their accident.
Helping victims access compensation and rehabilitation and seeing the positive impact this has is really fulfilling.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The team has a wealth of knowledge and experience and everyone is really motivated to strive to achieve the best possible outcome for their clients.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, I enjoy cycling on my spin bike and running outdoors. I also enjoy baking and hosting for my family and friends.
