Biography
I am a paralegal in the Serious Injury department in the Sheffield office.
I started working at Irwin Mitchell in March 2020, having worked in other roles in the legal industry beforehand.
I mainly assist Liz Whitehead with cases such as serious orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain cases and fatal accidents.
What inspired you to get into law?
I didn’t realise my passion for law until I actually started studying it at college. I chose the subject because it sounded interesting and ended up loving it. Knowing that was exactly what I wanted my career to be in, I went on to study a Law Degree at Sheffield Hallam University.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping somebody through an extremely difficult time in their lives and striving to get every client the best possible outcome.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
My favourite thing about working at Irwin Mitchell is my wonderful colleagues in the Serious Injury team.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office I’m often in front of the TV watching a crime documentary or my football team Nottingham Forest. I also play Korfball (a sport that nobody has ever heard of!) for a Sheffield team.
