Biography
I’m a Solicitor in Irwin Mitchell’s Serious Injury team, specialising in Military claims. I am based in Manchester but work with clients based all over the country.
I have experience in various types of cases, including: brain injuries, noise induced hearing loss, psychiatric and psychological injuries, and severe orthopaedic injuries.
I have been involved in cases where clients suffered their injuries through:
- Aviation accidents
- Issues with equipment
- Bullying and harassment
- Exposure to chemicals
- Exposure to noise from armoured vehicles.
What inspired you to get into law?
I always wanted a career that was interesting and varied, and where I could use my skills to help people. Personal injury law ticks all those boxes for me and has given me the privilege of helping our clients during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Being able to get to know our clients on a personal level, and guiding them through what is naturally a difficult, worrying time. Providing this support and ultimately securing a positive settlement to provide ongoing financial security for our clients is a real motivation for me.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The fact that our expertise and resources are second to none. There are never any half-measures taken when it comes to the work that we do, and this allows us to provide a full service and achieve excellent results.
What do you do away from the office?
I love to travel and enjoy spending my time away from work exploring new places. I also enjoy sport, and play squash and rugby for my local teams.
