Biography
I am a paralegal in the Serious Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield. I have worked at Irwin Mitchell for four years in my paralegal role. I am due to start my training contract in September 2021 to begin the pathway to become a qualified Solicitor.
I mainly assist Rachael Aram, Claire Pilsworth, Alicia Townsend, Sarah Parkin and Rachel Hedley in dealing with cases including brain and spinal injuries.
What inspired you to get into law?
I fell into law as a result of being interested in History at secondary school and I have never looked back!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I get satisfaction by helping clients to achieve their goals, whether through organising rehabilitation or through obtaining financial settlements for their future.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
One of the best things about working at Irwin Mitchell is the diversity of cases that we see and work on. We get great experience and exposure working with clients from all different backgrounds that have been through lots of different accidents. This in turn gives us a great wealth of knowledge to help more clients effectively.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, most of my spare time is spent studying at the University of Law before starting my training contract. When I can find some time for myself, I enjoy walks in the Peak District and a spot of retail therapy at Meadowhall.
