- Wealth protection including pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements.
I have considerable experience in dealing with high net worth cases and representing individuals from various business sectors nationally. I regularly advise on cases with business assets, inherited assets, overseas assets and trusts. I have been complimented on my determination to achieve the best results for my clients whilst also taking a sensitive approach to the emotional aspects of the case.
What inspired you to get into law?
My father is a lawyer so from a very young age it appeared I was destined to follow in his footsteps. I was drawn to the analytical nature of the law. As I grew older it was apparent that Family Law was the perfect practice area for me; you have the chance every day to make a real difference to people’s lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Family Law allows you to meet people from all walks of life and really get to know them. You learn something new every day and develop not only as a lawyer but also as a person. I find it particularly rewarding when clients keep in touch even after their case has finished; it shows that you have done a good job.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell is a very inclusive firm and from the first day everyone is so welcoming. Personal and professional development is promoted. The firm really cares about their staff and clients as individuals.
What do you do away from the office?
I have two young children who keep me very busy. I enjoy days out with my family and spending time with friends. I also enjoy watching football and have a season ticket at Old Trafford.
Testimonials
"I was seeking legal advice in regards to family law matters for a better understanding of the legal rights here in the UK as a non-citizen married to a British citizen. Ms Samantha Clifford was very attentive to the details I had provided and gave clear yet practical legal advice in relation to my situation, at the same time giving it a genuinely felt human touch with how sympathetic and kind she was throughout our consult. Credit to her knowledge and experience, she also brought to attention other details that had not crossed my mind for which I’m grateful for... Overall, Ms Clifford has given me so much clarity as to how to proceed forward with my situation." - 5* Trustpilot review
