We acted for a landowner and developer on a £100m plus city centre scheme providing strategic development advice on issues such as restrictive covenants and rights of light.

National Property Investor

We helped a national property investor for more than 15 years, providing advice on all areas of property management for its estate.

Vacant Possession Recovery – National Property Investor

We acted for this national property investor in order to recover vacant large industrial premises after a series of occupier insolvencies. Our lawyers negotiated a swift multi-party sale of the plant and its machinery to enable a six figure re-letting.


Successfully mediated the settlement of a £13m dilapidations claim on behalf of a tenant.

Occupation Of Premises – National Property Investor

Our lawyers acted for a national property investor in formalise the occupation of a premises after administration of a tenant.

Injunction Application

We defended an injunction application for a real estate fund and obtained a summary judgement relating to contested possession and damages proceedings. This was after the former tenant re-entered the premises after the landlord’s forfeiture.

Supreme Court

We advised a client in the Supreme Court case Trail Riders Fellowship and Tilbury v Dorset County Council (2015) regarding the use of historic byways in Dorset.

Environmental Challenge

We successfully challenged the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Public Affairs relating to a route through a farm in Kent being upgraded to a byway open to all traffic.
