Biography
Victoria is Chief Commercial Officer for Irwin Mitchell responsible for the planning and execution of the growth plans for the group. She leads our strategy on organic growth, mergers and acquisitions and strategic lateral hires.
Victoria has previously led Irwin Mitchell’s Business Legal Services Division with responsibility for growth and management of the services we offer to our corporate and high net wealth clients.
Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell Victoria was Managing Partner of Thomas Eggar LLP, a firm providing support to businesses and private clients, which was acquired by Irwin Mitchell in 2015. During her time as Managing Partner, Victoria led the acquisition of a boutique corporate firm in London, Pritchard Englefield and then led the partnership into the merger with Irwin Mitchell.
She trained as a commercial disputes lawyer with Freshfields specialising in banking and insurance disputes. After 10 years at Freshfields, she moved to Thomas Eggar where she led the growth of the Commercial Litigation Department and subsequently became Department Head. From an early stage in her career, she has been involved on various strategic committees as part of her role.
At Irwin Mitchell Victoria sits on our Holdings Board and our Group Executive Committee she is also board sponsor of the Group’s Smart Working programme. She is the Chair of trustees for a small local charity, PSDS, which supports children and young adults with Down syndrome.

Victoria sits on the Editorial Board of Managing Partner and is a regular contributor to the publication as well as other legal press.
